My grandfather Thomas Henry Lewis who lived at Sirhowy, Tredegar, had one brother named John (Jack) Lewis who had several sons one of which was named Albert and two daughters. I think he lived in No.68 Bailey Street in and around the 1940's and his wife's maiden name was Overton. I understand he was something to do with St. John's Ambulance or some other first aid organisation. Are there any of his descendents still living in Brynmawr ? and if so I would like to hear from them.[/b]

I've heard of the surname Overton and I've looked in the local telephone directory and there is an R Overton listed as living in 38 Victoria Street Blaina - which is only a couple of miles away from Brynmawr if you don't know the area - and the telephone number is 01495 290778.
